Upper Bann MP, Carla Lockhart has attended the Fertility Awareness event organised by Nickie Aiken MP in Parliament pledging her support for improved leave from the workplace for those undergoing treatment. The event focused on the findings of the Fertility Survey, which evidenced the real challenges for those receiving fertility treatment, especially in the workplace.

While the initiative is officially marked on 25th April in England and Wales, there is currently no formally designated date in Northern Ireland.
