New café a boost to Lurgan town centre as Gilford based business expands

Carla Lockhart MP • February 14, 2023

Upper Bann MP Carla Lockhart paid a visit Lurgan’s newest coffee shop, Rendezvous, which has opened within the Faith Mission Bookshop premises on High Street. This is part of the Freshfields business portfolio which opened recently in Gilford.

Wishing the business well for the future, Carla said:

“It is a huge step for anyone to embark on a new business, but I know the folk at Freshfields have a wealth of experience behind them as they open their new café, Rendezvous, in Lurgan.

This very funky new coffee shop is located to the rear of the Faith Mission Bookshop on High Street. It offers a fantastic range on the menu, with something to suit everyone. I know anyone calling in will receive a very warm welcome, and enjoy the food on offer.

I wish the team here well in this new venture, and encourage the local community to support local business. Small, local business is a key part of our economy, and we want to support them as much as we can.”
