Upper Bann MP Carla Lockhart has extended her congratulations to Alderman Stephen Moutray on his appointment as Lord Mayor of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council.

“Many congratulations to Alderman Stephen Moutray on his appointment as Lord Mayor,” said Carla Lockhart MP. “Stephen has given many years of dedicated service to the people of this area, and this appointment is a fitting recognition of his long-standing commitment to local public life. I wish him every success as he takes on this important civic role and look forward to working with him.”

Ms Lockhart also welcomed Alderman Moutray’s choice of charities to support during his mayoral term.

“It’s great to see him champion two causes that matter deeply to many in Upper Bann, Southern Area Hospice and Epilepsy Action. I’ve no doubt these organisations will benefit greatly from his support in the year ahead.”
