Hugely Successful Pop-Up Advice Clinic in Donaghcloney

Carla Lockhart MP • March 5, 2025

Upper Bann MP Carla Lockhart has hailed her recent pop-up advice clinic in Donaghcloney as a huge success, with a queue out the door and demand so high that the session had to be extended to accommodate everyone.

Speaking after the event, Carla Lockhart MP said:

"I am absolutely delighted with the response to our Donaghcloney pop-up clinic. The turnout was incredible, with a steady stream of people coming through the doors to discuss a wide range of issues. It was a privilege to engage with so many residents and to provide support where needed.

"One of the key issues raised was healthcare and GP provision, which remains a significant concern for people in the area. This is something I am acutely aware of, and I will continue to push for better access to services for local residents.

"I want to extend my sincere thanks to everyone who came along, as well as to the Donaghcloney Royal British Legion for so kindly hosting us. I also appreciated very much the help given by Ms Helen Wilson a local lady who even provided me with a birthday cake on the day."

Carla Lockhart has confirmed that further pop-up clinics will be scheduled across the constituency, ensuring that communities have even more opportunities to access support.

"My offices in Portadown and Lurgan are open Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm, and I would encourage anyone needing assistance to get in touch at any time. However, these pop-up clinics provide a great opportunity to engage directly with local communities, and I look forward to hosting many more in the weeks and months ahead."
