Empire Poppy Store a must go to for Christmas

Carla Lockhart MP • December 12, 2023

Local MP Carla Lockhart has encouraged people to show their support for local group Ancre Somme Association Charity by purchasing some Christmas presents at their Empire Poppy Store.

The DUP representative said:

“Empire Poppy Store, based at Brownlow House, offers a range of unique Christmas gifts and is definitely worth a visit ahead of the big day if you want something unique as a gift for a loved one or friend this Christmas.

The shop is also offering a unique Christmas tree decoration that marks the Coronation of King Charles this year, and if purchased it will also come with a lovely Remembrance Calendar for 2024.

The group at Ancre Somme Association Charity, behind the Empire Poppy Store, must be commended for the work they are doing here in offering amazing gifts and goods for people whilst sustaining their charitable efforts surrounding remembrance and education. It is certainly well worth a stop off this Christmas and is open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 2pm.”
