Banbridge Cafe Expansion A Welcome Boost for Town

Carla Lockhart MP • May 14, 2024

Carla Lockhart, MP for Upper Bann, has praised the expansion plans of Cafe Marmalade in Banbridge. A planning application submitted to Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council seeks to enhance the cafe by adding first-floor seating for approximately 80 customers.

"Thrilled to see local businesses like Cafe Marmalade expand; well done to Wayne and the team," commented the DUP MP.  She goes on, “it is a difficult time for trading on the High Street and I would commend Wayne for his commitment and desire to grow his business”.

The expansion will boost the local economy by increasing capacity and attracting more patrons.
