Carla Lockhart MP • June 24, 2025

Upper Bann MP, Carla Lockhart, has praised the warm community spirit and family fun on display at the Holy Trinity Church of Ireland Summer Fete in Banbridge on Saturday 21st June.

Speaking after the event, Carla Lockhart said:

“It was a fantastic afternoon in Banbridge for the Church of Ireland Summer Fete. It was glorious weather, brilliant company, and a wonderful celebration of everything that makes our local community so special and the role the Church plays in our town.

Charlie and I thoroughly enjoyed the day, and it was lovely to catch up with Rev. Rodney Nixon, Rector of Banbridge Church of Ireland, and thank him and the team for such a warm welcome.

Events like these bring people together, raise vital funds, and give families and friends the opportunity to enjoy a relaxed, fun-filled afternoon. From bouncy castles to market stalls, it was clear a lot of work went into making it a success and it certainly paid off.

A huge well done to all involved. We’re already looking forward to the next one!”
