PROGRESS ON PRINCESS WAY RESURFACING

DUP MP, Carla Lockhart and Cllr Margaret Tinsley have welcomed the confirmation that Princess Way resurfacing has progressed to the next stage with it having been added to the “future resurfacing list” within DFI Roads. Having received the confirmation both elected representatives have welcomed this progress.
Speaking jointly, they said, “this has been long lobbied for and is very welcome news. Whilst we know it will still take a period of time before the actual resurfacing is completed at least it is now seen as a priority and will make its way to the top of the list in due course.
Part of Princess Way was resurfaced some time ago but the area towards the Gilford Road is in a terrible state of repair.
We welcome this confirmation and will continue to press for the works to start in a timely manner. Killicomaine is a large estate and needs investment in its infrastructure. This will certainly be a welcome step by all residents.”
