New MP advice clinic Banbridge

Carla Lockhart MP • February 27, 2024

Upper Bann MP, Carla Lockhart has plans to grow her Constituency Advice Services by commencing a monthly Advice Clinic in Banbridge Orange Hall (kindly granted).  This will see the MP extend and build on her office base in Lurgan and Portadown.  Banbridge has a full time DUP office run by local MLA Diane Dodds and this is aimed at further enhancing this offering by giving face to face time with the MP.  The plan is to host a monthly surgery from 2:15 – 4:15pm in Banbridge Orange Hall the first Friday of every month starting 1st March 2024.

Speaking ahead of the first surgery Carla Lockhart MP said, “this provides a great opportunity to further enhance and grow my constituency advice offering.  I run two busy offices and regularly hold advice clinics in all arts and parts of the constituency.  This will be a standing engagement where I can meet people on a range of constituency issues.  I have always endeavoured to work hard for the people that elect me and this is another way of ensuring that people have access to the help and support needed.

This will be a team effort with our local MLA, Diane Dodds and Councillors Paul Greenfield and Ian Wilson but will be a Westminster lead initiative.  I am available at any time during the week and weekends however, this gives a set time for completing forms, meeting on issues, discussions around funding and generally improving that ability to speak face to face with me as your MP.  Never hesitate to get in touch at any time however, if you would like to see me personally at the clinic on Friday you can drop in or call 02838310088, email carlalockhartmp.office@parliament.uk to make an appointment.

A sincere word of thanks to the Banbridge Orange Hall Committee for their granting use of the hall.  This will be a service aimed at helping those who need my assistance.  It is commendable that the Orange in Banbridge are supportive of providing this service to the local community.

The monthly clinic will take place on the first Friday of the month and will run from 2:15 – 4:15pm.  Everyone is welcome.”
