MP hosts business support seminar

Carla Lockhart MP • October 24, 2023

Upper Bann MP Carla Lockhart has thanked those local businesses who joined an online seminar with a range of business support organisations, hosted by the DUP representative.

Carla Lockhart said:

“Our local business community continue to face a range of challenges in what are difficult economic conditions for businesses and consumers alike.

The resilience within our small and medium business sector is remarkable, but I want to ensure these businesses are aware of the various support programmes available to them to sustain and grow their business.

This online forum brought together a number of organisations, including CIDO, Invest NI, ABC Council, Enterprise NI and Prince’s Trust Northern Ireland. The information provided was very useful and insightful, and the contacts made will help these businesses access support in the future.

I want to thank the organisations represented for taking time to join this business workshop, but also those local business representatives who took time out of their schedule to attend.

I remain here to help any business in the area, and if I can assist please do not hesitate to get in touch.”
