Lockhart Welcomes Resurfacing of Kiddswell Road

Upper Bann MP Carla Lockhart has welcomed the commencement of long-awaited resurfacing works on Kiddswell Road, Donaghcloney, describing it as a much-needed improvement for local residents and road users.
Speaking on the issue Carla Lockhart said:
"Great news – resurfacing work is now underway on Kiddswell Road, Donaghcloney. This is a good result for the local community, and I want to thank the Department for Infrastructure for their efforts in bringing this much-needed work to fruition.
Road conditions in rural areas must not be overlooked, and I will continue to press for further investment in our roads network to ensure safe and high-quality infrastructure for everyone."
Local residents have long campaigned for improvements to the road surface, highlighting safety concerns and the impact of deterioration over time. The works will deliver a smoother and more durable surface, enhancing safety and accessibility in the area.
