Upper Bann MP Carla Lockhart and Calle Paul Greenfield MP have said the ongoing progress of public realm works in Banbridge is a welcome sight for the community, and local retailers.
The DUP representatives said:
“This extensive public realm scheme was hard fought for and I am delighted that we are seeing the works progress at pace.
As is always the case with these schemes, they bring disruption. We know this has caused some frustration amongst the local business community but we would commend everyone involved for the productive and cordial relations throughout the constructions phase. Dialogue between all impacted has been good and we know that will continue to be the case in the ongoing roll out of the scheme.
This is a transformational scheme for Banbridge and we look forward to its completion early in 2024.”
