75 mile hike an inspirational legacy for Molly Moo

Carla Lockhart MP • April 19, 2022

Local Member of Parliament Carla Lockhart has paid tribute to a group of local charity fundraisers who have embarked on a 75 mile hike in aid of the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice. A total of £3500 has been raised so far to support the work of the hospice, in memory of local girl Molly Moo who availed of the services at the Hospice.

Carla Lockhart said:

“I want to commend Sandra, Molly’s Mum, for this amazing fundraiser. It is absolutely fantastic to have raised £3500 for the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice, in memory of little Molly Moo.

Sandra Hollingworth, along with her team of Yvonne, Simon, Stephen and Mark walked 75 miles around Lough Neagh, which is a gruelling task. However their efforts have been recognised by the generosity of so many donors for this wonderful cause.

Donations can still be made, and a link to the Just Giving Page can be found on my Facebook page – I know all support will be gratefully received.”
